Hello Balance Method Enthusiast!

Welcome to this first post of the Path of the Scholar Warrior. The first step of our journey. My name is Kris Oosting and I am the writer of these blog posts. I am glad you are here, giving your precious time to read these posts. In these weekly posts we will cover Balance Method Acupuncture pro-tips, clinical cases, research, and anything else that will improve your results to an even higher level.

So, why is this blog called "The Path of the Scholar Warrior"? Let's start with "The Path." We all walk our path to self-development and self-expression. As Balance Method Acupuncturists, we walk the path from Local Balance to Global Balance to Meridian Conversion to Five Phases and Seasonal Balance, for example. We learn new techniques to treat pain, discomfort and functional disorders. We are able to treat complex problems. As the master knows, there is always room to learn and improve more. That is being human. We strive to be more.

And the Scholar Warrior? Do we have to fight? No, okay, a little bit then. We "fight" against pain and discomfort. We are not warriors with a sword, but with a needle. As you know, it makes no difference whether you use a needle, a sword or a calligraphy brush. The Yi - intention and movement of Qi are the same. We will explore this further in upcoming posts.

Actually, there is another important movement going on. Today, on October 9, we launched the Balance Method Revolution! Our main mission: to give people with chronic pain their lives back in a safe, affordable and easy way. You see, that makes us happy. We can treat people so they have less pain. But, what we actually give them is quality of life.

The Balance Method Revolution takes the form of courses, 12 topic webinars, a master class, podcasts, blog, books, reference cards, and a Facebook group, etc.

In these weekly posts we will cover Balance Method Acupuncture pro-tips, clinical cases, research, and anything else that will improve your results to an even higher level. This concludes this introductory post and I thank you again for participating in this journey, the Path of the Scholar Warrior.

With balancing regards, Kris
